Aywas: River monsters

Team Squirrelly presents...
A task of writing about river monsters!
By The Almighty! (2574)
There is no word minimum.

The most common monster by far is a tricky beast called the Scivib. It looks like a regular piece of seaweed, often greenish in hue. It will bite the bottom of the river, letting it's tail hang up. If someone simply brushes it, it will wrap itself along the person's (Or  pet's) leg and attempt to drag it down. Luckily, these animals are not very strong, and are only dangerous in large numbers.
One animal to watch for is the luminous snarkschittergonish. It's about as big as a breadbox, but is much more deadly. It hunts only in the day, as it's luminous nature makes it really easy to spot. Watch out for it's six pairs of poisonous fangs- It's poison is really, really effective.
Perhaps the largest thing out in the river is a passive creature affectionately called the Lump. If you dive to the very bottom, you might see it sitting there. It's huge, pale white body simply sits at the bottom, it's wide jaw open. It won't move if you do anything to it, except step into it's gaping jaw.
The easiest to spot and perhaps the one with the dimmest wit is the Gleeep. It toils all day digging pitfall traps under water, but when it swims it leaves a purple trail. If you see a cloud of purple in the water, there's a pitfall below you. The Gleeep's traps also never work, possibly because no one stand on the bottom of the river. And if they do, they can always swim right out.
A very simple fish, the Simple Fish is simple. It enjoys eating and breathing. It likes to swim. When it comes to breeding season, the females lay eggs. It hunts smaller fish and plants by swimmer after them. It enjoys a simple life, doing simple things.
